All reviews featured on this blog are completely free. I do not charge for reading, reviewing, or featuring your book.

2. Content Restrictions

I do not accept books that promote or glorify:

  • Violence or abuse
  • Sexually explicit content

Submissions containing such material will be declined.

3. Review Timeframe

I aim to provide a fair and detailed review of each accepted book within one month of receiving the copy. While every effort is made to adhere to this timeline, unexpected delays will be communicated promptly.

4. Book Formats Accepted

Authors and publishers must provide a soft copy of the book in one of the following formats upon acceptance of their request:

  • PDF
  • EPUB
  • MOBI

While digital copies are preferred, paperback and hardcover editions are also welcome if you choose to send them.

5. Honesty and Transparency

All reviews reflect my genuine impressions—positive or critical. Submitting a book implies acceptance of an honest opinion.

The words stretch their expansion to reveal the light and upliftment from the dark experiences. My Rating-  ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐/5 Major Themes The book explores the complexities of human emotions, especially romantic, platonic, and self-love. Additionally, it teaches to admire moments of beauty in life and sparks resilience in difficult times. A Personal Note on Poetic Style As someone who enjoys poetry based on lush metaphors and surprising imagery, I found Light Beneath The Lids  quite a lot straightforward and abstract. The Possessing Hour: A Short Horror Story Collection by Jeremy John Hayes

My Rating- ⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the very first story, this collection had me hooked. What impressed me most was how quickly the atmosphere set in — the abandoned, resurrecting house felt like a character in itself, glaring back at the protagonist. That opening was chilling in the best way, and it established the tone of the collection beautifully. What I enjoyed throughout the stories is how you balance the ordinary with the uncanny. Everyday details — a street, a family, a casual setting — are woven together with something sinister lurking beneath. That mix makes the horror feel uncomfortably close to real life, which is exactly what a good short horror story should do.
